Mosquitos, aphids, mites- there are all sorts of bugs that can really ruin our outdoor experience. I’m growing veggies in my sunny front garden, and every day I have to check for little mites that seem to like my tomatoes. I was very happy to go outside and see ladybugs on their leaves recently. We actually bought a tub of ladybugs from a garden center, but we weren’t sure if the birds would gobble them up their first day on the job!
As for those pesky mosquitos, I’d love to spray my yard, but- beneficials! Instead, I spray myself and spend a lot of time on my screened porch.
